Shannon Fitzsummons - Web Books Team Leader
Shannon has been a full-time member of the Academy since 2007 but has been exposed to the company since she was in junior high school, helping in an administrative capacity on a casual basis for a number of years. Once she had finished high school Shannon completed a Business Administration Traineeship with the Academy while studying towards the achievement of a Diploma of Business with the Australian College of Commerce and Management.
Today Shannon is responsible for planning, organising and overseeing the implementation of Real Estate Academy’s administrative systems and functions to ensure the company’s operations run seamlessly and cost-effectively. She also assists the General Manager in an HR management capacity. In this role, she helps with the recruitment process, manages the onboarding function and is the first point of call for all staffing matters. Last but not least, as Web Books Team Leader Shannon devotes most of her time helping members optimise the way they use this innovative, simple to use technology product to build their businesses and profiles within the communities they serve.
Madeline Balding - Technology and Customer Care Consultant
Madeline worked in the beauty industry and administrative positions before joining Real Estate Academy in March 2016 to take on a customer care and support role for Web Book users. Madeline has a number of qualifications including the Real Estate Certificate of Registration & Lee Woodward’s ACTIVATE program. After moving away for a year she has returned to supporting clients with the use of Web Books as well as conducting all training and roll out of new systems to all clients. Madeline’s practical experience with technology, such as Web Books, coupled with her friendly, professional manner and excellent communication skills make her an invaluable member of the team.
Ryley McCaughan - Technology and Customer Care Consultant
Ryley was always going to work in the real estate industry, it was just matter of when and where? Growing up around real estate, Ryley’s first exposure to real life prospecting was accompanying her dad on letter drops as an 8 year old. Since those early days, she has learnt to adapt her innate skills of communication and bubbly personality to a variety of roles and industries in customer service.
Ryley's passion for helping and caring for people and her after school years in real estate starting in admin and ending in property management have allowed her to transition seamlessly into the Real Estate Academy environment. As the Executive Support and Client Care Officer, Ryley works across a number of critical areas related to our customer satisfaction including; primary contact with the Web Book support team, executive staff logistical planning, sales and member services.
